When visiting Sequoia National Park or King’s Canyon National Park, enjoy your lodging in a fully-furnished, two bedroom house located in Squaw Valley near Dunlap.  The unique bungalow is located just 18 miles from the north entrance of Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park and 38 miles east of the Fresno Yosemite International Airport. Set in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains on a 160-acre private ranch in a secluded location, these comfortable accommodations are perfect for a relaxing retreat near the national parks. The lodgings are in close proximity to all the activities offered by the diverse landscape of the Sierra Nevada Mountains including sightseeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, horseback riding, hang gliding, rock climbing, biking, fishing and white water rafting. The ranch borders St. Nicholas Ranch which is a ministry of the Greek Orthodox Diocese of San Francisco. The cabin is located one mile from the Fresno Field Archers and only a few miles to the Dunlap Flight Park. There is fishing and boating at nearby Pine Flat Lake where houseboat rentals are available. A launching ramp is also available for your own watercraft. In late spring and early summer, enjoy exhilarating river rafting on the King’s river. Close by is the Endangered Cat Haven exhibiting a variety of rare wild cats. Three Indian gambling casinos (Chukchansi, Table Mountain and Tachi Palace) are within a 1-½ hour drive and Yosemite National Park is a 2-½ hour drive from the cabin. Nearby are the towns of Fresno, Visalia, Reedley and Sanger.
